Jan 10 Ribbon Colors Matching Gymboree’s Santorini Sweetie line
This is an unofficial entry, as I only have one item to match to as of yet: the KG Graphic Flower Top. I will update this entry if I have any color updates/additions once I am able to match to additional items.
Based on that tee, here are the best grosgrain ribbon color matches:
- S Capri Blue
- S Lt Navy
- O Bluebird
- White
These are all very good matches. Check back for an update in a week or so, when I will confirm whether these colors are true matches for the rest of the line.

This cute Gymboree line was pretty easy to match with not too many colors to fool around with! Use these grosgrain ribbon colors for all your custom accessories made to match Gymboree’s 2009 Garden Friends line. Note: Fantasy Rose matches the lighter pink in some of the prints, but is not the primary pink. For that you want Offray Shocking Pink.

Use these ribbon colors to make your own hair bows, headbands, ribbon belts, pony streamers or other accessories to match Gymboree’s Super Star collection! Tropic Lilac is the right hue, but is a bit light. If you find a better color match for Gymboree’s Purple Flower, please let me know!

FREE Hair Bow Pattern: Medium M2M Hanna Andersson’s 2009 Medallion Dress

I’m in love with this pretty Medallion dress by Hanna Andersson, so knew I’d need to make matching bows. This pattern makes a medium sized (about 3.5″ wide) bow that you can use for any variety of crafts or embellishment:
- For the bottom layer: cut one 19″ length of White grosgrain ribbon 1.5″ wide
- For the middle layer: cut 4″ lengths of each: Lt Navy 5/8″ wide grosgrain, Shocking Pink/White stripe 5/8″ wide grosgrain, and two 4″ lengths of Shocking Pink dot 7/8″ wide grosgrain ribbon
- For the top layer: cut one 15″ length of Lt Navy 7/8″ wide grosgrain ribbon
- Wrap center with O Pistachio grosgrain ribbon.
Color help:
S = Schiff brand grosgrain ribbon
O = Offray brand grosgrain ribbon
